WITHDRAWAL & CANCELLATION POLICY

1. OVERVIEW

At Not Your Mommy Middle East (“Not Your Mommy”, “NYM”, “we”, “us”), we are committed to providing high-quality products and a transparent shopping experience.

This Withdrawal & Cancellation Policy outlines your rights under applicable UAE Consumer Protection Law and the terms under which orders may be cancelled, returned, or refunded.

 

2. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (CANCELLATION BEFORE DISPATCH)

You may request cancellation of your order before it has been dispatched.

If your order has not yet been processed or shipped, you are entitled to a full refund of the purchase amount.

If the order has already been shipped, the return process described below will apply.

 

3. RETURNS AFTER DELIVERY

Under UAE Consumer Protection Law, customers are entitled to return products that are:

  • Defective
  • Damaged upon delivery
  • Not as described
  • Incorrectly supplied

If you receive a defective or incorrect item, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery.

The item must:

  • Be unused
  • Be in original condition
  • Include original packaging and tags
  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase

Upon inspection and approval, we will:

  • Replace the item, or
  • Provide a refund to the original payment method

 

4. NON-DEFECTIVE RETURNS (CHANGE OF MIND)

For hygiene, safety, and brand protection reasons, we reserve the right to refuse returns for change-of-mind purchases unless otherwise stated.

If we accept a discretionary return:

  • The request must be made within 7 days of delivery
  • Items must be unused and in original packaging
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

Approval of discretionary returns is at our sole discretion.

 

5. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items are non-returnable unless defective:

  • Worn or used items
  • Items without original tags
  • Gift cards
  • Final sale or promotional items (if marked as such)
  • Items damaged due to misuse

 

6. REFUND PROCESS

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • You will receive confirmation via email
  • If approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method
  • Processing time may take 7–14 business days depending on your bank or payment provider

We are not responsible for delays caused by financial institutions.

 

7. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

If your item arrives damaged:

  • Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide clear photos of the damage
  • Retain all packaging materials

We may request return of the damaged item before issuing a replacement or refund.

 

8. ORDER CANCELLATION BY NOT YOUR MOMMY

We reserve the right to cancel orders in cases including:

  • Pricing errors
  • Payment authorization issues
  • Suspected fraudulent activity
  • Product unavailability

If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund.

 

9. COMPLIANCE WITH UAE LAW

This policy is designed in accordance with:

  • UAE Federal Decree Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection
  • Relevant Executive Regulations

Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights under applicable UAE law.
